Think it does exist tbh but they have it wrong with us.
If a side is losing the core of its spine or key players that's the closing of a premiership window.
Our spine is relatively unscathed and key players are locked in so I can't agree that ours is shut after 22.....just total crap.
Spot on. A window doesn't close when your biggest loss is an edge backrower. I actually think we will be a better side next year. I think Hodgeson will go a lot better than people think and players like Brown and Penisini will continue to get better. I like the look of our backrow recruit from Penrith too
If Hodgeson is fit, we should be premiership favourites.
Also Michael, though most here including myself have knocked BA, he would be better after at least getting to a prelim or GF. Adding Barrett to control attack plus offer insight as an ex head coach is helpful.
Players too would be full of confidence being in a prelim or GF, Hodgson been to a few prelims and a GF is even better.
And our 6 & 7 are getting better each season, as are a number of other support players. Seriously, the club doesn't leak like a sieve anymore, so the media just make stuff up now. It's almost at the point where no one believes them anymore, so maybe they will go and pick on another team... or actually report on the positive things about Parra.
Keep it up though media, you are just giving more amunition to BA to use to inspire his players to prove everyone wrong.
Canberra / Souffs and Melbourne have all done well over the last five yrs and Penrith. For me it's abt your spine and main forwards. If we lose MM and DB with no back up then yes it's closed but no one is closing our window. Don't listen to fools like B Anasta.
