  • We overachieved all year and were beaten on the big day by a team full of better players. They also flogged us early in the year, proving it was no fluke.

    • Most points and most tries equaled premiership for all teams except Parra. LOL
  • If you add our finals points in 2001 and we easily clear the 1000 mark thanks to a 56-12 win over NZ.
    Infact i think at that point it would have been the biggest finals win recorded.
    Not sure if this still stands.
    • 943 includes the finals. It was 839 before the finals.
  • At the coin toss, Cayess had his full playing kit on (tape and all) while Johns wore trakies and sneakers. My old said "boys are going to loose, their wasting too much energy ". I always thought Brian Smith was tactically brilliant but his biggest weakness was his intensity
