With the coming of Ryles and his proven defensive structures along with our strong attacking options, I'm tipping us to make the 8 if we have a little more luck with injuries in 25

Some are saying Greig as disappointment but yet to be a disappointment I feel you need some expectations. I believe hardly anyone on here expects much from Greig in 2025.
Finish 5th
Best player: Moses
Most Improved: Lane
Rookie: Papali'i
Spoon: Warriors
Premiers: Melbourne
Player we let go: Carty
Most Disappointing: Cartwright
Next signing: either a back this year or a Prop next year.
Also I wouldn't be writing Woody totally off. If Ryles can get him ultra fit, just as I'm hearing from Sixties at TCT that Junior Paulo is something like 109kgs the lightest he has ever been, then there could be a spot for Woody. I think it's just his fitness and him playing longer minutes that's holding him back. He has the size and shape to do a job similar to Tui Kamakamica.
Only thing about Greig is that he's not the most athletic bloke to be fair. Fitness is an issue but look at him in 2023, one of our most consistent before his lisfranc injury. But is he the type of Prop Ryles wants?
His foot speed isn't quick, that's also a problem with today's game's speed.
He has an alright first step creating one on one but that is it. Put him in open space and he ain't doing much. Unlike say Paulo who we can see his footwork is class regardless of what you think of him you have to admit his feet can be the best in game.
Greig suits the 90's style of Prop.
