It is never as good as you hope, but never as bad as you fear.
I fear we will lose all of our remaining 6 games and limp into 8th and lose the first week of the semi's, I hope we win 5/6 games finish 4th and make the GF after winning two finals games. So the truth lies somewhere in between. Probably win 2-3/6 finish 5th, win week one in the finals and then lose the following week.
Just as i predicted pre season, it will be more of the same.
BA just cant coach a full season of NRL, his teams dont have any consistacncy, hes too slow to adjust, mentally we cant keep the curve going up all season like the better clubs can.
BA is a half season coach, hes proven that.
The team plays like brads personality, hes not intense or ruthless enough, nor shrewd enough.
He plays favourites too much and the promotion of his son who shouldnt even be top 30, is absolutely disgraceful.
BAs vision for this club is to have his son be our long term half, we aint ever gonna win a comp with JA here, BAs bias and nepotism is more important for him than winning a comp.
As long as BAs at this club we will be also rans, i predicted this years ago, and its going just as i predicted.

No one is saying hes a bad bloke. His emotion and sentiment has clouded his judgement. When have you seen another coach crying after debuting his son? He's only human at the end of the day but it's royally fkd his judgement on the matter.
...and no one is saying he cant coach. He's just a limited coach and not one thats ever going to take a team to titles. Hes an attitude fixer. Our team play with attitude and intent week on week which is more than 65% of the teams in the comp. Everything said above is correct there are no signs his coaching has evolved past what it was 5 seasons ago. The coach has to evolve as the roster and ceiling of the roster evolve.
"People will still complain because they will have more away games against better teams compared to other teams or different turn around times.
I think a shorter season and stand alone rep period is the best option and over due though."

If JA is playing against the top teams coming up, say goodbye to top 7 and we will be finishing 8th.
Sadly our "premiership window" has a distinctly different view to other clubs.
