So I had to head home to the family after the game, so didn't get to stay at the post-match function in the auditorium, so I have to live vicariously through the 1Eyed folk who were there?
So c'mon Tinker, Bongo, Slippery, Bourbon, Perfecta, etc! Stories, photos, etc.

Did you see Burty? :( man i feel so sorry for him. The look on his face was horrific. It was as if he knew all the fans would hate him. But we dont. Was he there?
I'm proud to say we have a team of the nicest bunch of blokes you could ever meet.
Special mention to Jeff Robson, who I suprisingly enjoyed talking to the most. This guy couldn't be any more down-to-earth, and i must admit i haven't given him half the credit he deserves as a player.
It was however disappointing to not see Guru there, is he not part of the team ?
It was great meeting you too Tony !! Had a great time with you guys and i love the atmosphere that you guys create. Its definitely more fun than the regular seats i have at the other end of the Northern Terrace. :) Oh and thanks for the above update, did any of you talk to Jarryd :) :) :)
I'm not normally one to approach the players - mainly because I can't stand the idea of looking like a gushing school girl (although if I met Ashleigh I probably would).
That said, I shook Caylo's hand and thanked him for his tremendous contribution to our club. He told me that he saw me on the Northern Hill and couldn't believe that Todd Greenberg was an Eels fan! Can't say that's the first time I've heard that said ;-)
First - really great to catch up with all the crew again. I always have so much fun... and last weekend might have been my last home game of the season, due to factors out of my control. So it was nice to meet some of the players.
1. Kris Keating - He now recognises me and came and said hello. I again reemphasised how sad I was he was leaving. He told me he was also really upset and that it was beginning to hit him. He said he hopes to come back someday and he thanked me for all my support over the year. I was really upset after speaking to KK and he was too, especially since it wasn't really his choice to leave. :-(
2. Ant Mitchell - I finally set the record straight and told him that it was I who made up his song and that we was my favourite Wenty player. He was exctied about the prospect of a sign next year and was just so grateful to be playing. I told you all that he was lovely!
3. JUSTIN POORE - Now everybody listen up. I have been saying all season that he is a confidence player and I AM RIGHT. Poorey can't read this website because he gets upset about all the negative comments directed his way. However, I did boost his confidence and he said he has been feeling more comfortable since Round 8 - which shows in his performance. I think we should all make a big effort to Poore some more love on Justin Poore.
4. Feleti and Krisnan - Again, devastated to be leaving us. :-(
5. Tim Mannah - loved his Super Mannah sign. :-)
P.S. Parraeels12 and Fui! I missed meeting both of you!!
"Let me play devil's adovocate here. Let's say the Bulldogs are interested, they already have Burton at 6, Bailey Hayward is another player they see as a future 6 or 7. On top of that they have Mitchell Woods who is a great young 7 the Bulldogs have…"

Needless to say, it was very sad to hear.

Poor bugger! Despite the relative ease of the kick, these things do happen in sport.
