If we win we play Panthers

If we loose to Melbourne we will play lose  of Roosters v Souths at home. If we play Souths that's our season unfortunately.

  • I wouldn't want to play either Roosters or Souths week 1.

Its so important that we beat the Storm. I was hoping either Munster or NAS, or both, would be suspended. Judiciary went to sleep on both.

Got to beat the best if you want to be the best though.

    • Melbourne is our first GF. If we can't beat them with that knowledge we can't string 4 wins against the quality of teams in the top 8.

If we do beat Melbourne,  then I think we need to beat Penrith and get a week off and allow the other teams to sort themselves out.

Then we might be playing Sharks, Roosters, Rabbits or Cowboys. Hoping confidence and a week off will get us in the GF.

That imo would be against Penrith.

All very hypothetical, but this is our best chance. Otherwise the path is something like:

      Rabbits, Cowboys, Panthers, Storm/Roosters.

      Vs (again)

      Panthers, Sharks,  Panthers.

  • I don't want to be negative but geez these are the times they can let us down and we will what if. Really hope I'm proven wrong

  • We either play them Week 1, 2, Prelim or GF. Gotta win. And we'll be playing Week 1 at home. No excuses.

    • If we finish 4th, we are a good chance of not having to play either Souths or Roosters again this year.

      • That's true. 4th is extremely important.
If we finish 4th and lose Week 1, we play the winner of 5 v 8. So likely we'd meet the Storm in Week 2. Win that and we play the Winner of Sharks vs Cowboys from Week 1.
So even if we finish 4th and lose week 1, our path to the GF is absolutely doable this year!!!

  • We fold when our forwards are challenged. We could easily beat souths if our forwards stand up and take it to theirs.

The Broncos sucked ass the whole game, they threw nothing at us. Our attack was clumsy and we still smashed them. Our forwards need to put their bodies on the line every single game now!

    • The Cows showed how to beat the Bunnies last night. You gotta get up in their faces and bustle them. Our problem is we are too passive against them, we let Latrell Mitchell turn the corner far too easily. The Cows didn't let him do that last night. The problem was the Bunnies did the same thing to the Cows.

With the amount of wet weather Sydney is having, I can see the Cows, Sharks & Bunnies, the three teams that like to move the ball laterally having more difficulties this year.

      • The problem Brett is that they still didn't win

        • No, but they showed how to beat them, Souths just did it better.
