I will not verbally abuse BA until the final team update. IDK if BA is gonna make late changes by swaping in Rankin for JA, Niukore for Blake and promoting Makatoa onto the bench for a debut. I sure hope he does. If he keeps the same 17 I will be and everyone here will be furious. If there is no improvement which we all assume and Bunnies run riot down that side, BA is putting his job on the line. So if he does get sacked, who replaces him? Flanagan, Green, Elliot?
I want Flanagan. A person who has already won a preimiership.

Flanagan is no SuperCoach . He's a bloke that dopes his players and rorts the salary cap. Even when he was dished out his punishment he wasn't able to cop it on the chin and adhere to the suspension. He's a bloke that will bring the club trouble .
BA is doing fine . We are at the top of the table and had one bad loss . Even the Rorters got towels up by the cellar dwellers last week and we got taught a lesson off a premiership contender playing like a team that'd just lost a club icon.
And yes , my eyes aren't painted on , I saw how Waqa played and ive also seen his re-selection . Let's see how it pans out through the week .
LOL, couldn't agree more mate.
one of the more common sense responses to the issues.....flanagan is not the type of character any club (except manly and perennial cheats storm) should have on board.
When you say Elliot I assume you mean Super. He'd get my vote, subject to his performane in a mock press conference. It's important our next coach has a strong on screen presence.
Surely noone seriously thinks the club is going to sack a coach with either a 10-2 or 9-3 win/loss record. The club are more likely to take the mature/adult approach and see how things pan out of the short/medium term future (i.e. the next 10 weeks) and take it from there.
What is the point of debating new coaching candidates now while we're 9 and 2?
The problem is not the 9-2 record. Eels fans and O'Niel know that BA has had plenty of time to rebuild the roster he wanted. We are currently in a premiership window. Is BA the one who can break our drought. If not, find someone who can before the window closes.
but who are quality candidates that can guarantee that success?
not one coach out there, experienced or up and coming can guarantee it - and that is what the fickle supporters want - guaranteed premiership.
Good points Rock, lets not forget how many former first grade coaches are now sitting in the assistant coaches chair.
After but 11 rounds of the season and with injuries and NRL crackdown we are still sitting in 3rd spot on the ladder, loss against Moanly as I have said before was always going to happen when the passing of Fulton was in the news, and even though he was not there, his presence was in the way Moanly responded, I even believe had the game been between the riff and moanly they would have won. They played the perfect game against the eels and pure emotion drove them.
So, already with 3 terrible losses and not half way point the wonderful fans and supporters have given up already, I guess we need to look to the moon tonight to see the organge tint and work out whether its going to explode and destroy the eels with moon dust.
We were in similar position last year too, then our weakness got exploited by the opposition we are gonna face next week and I can see us getting hammered if it is the same 17..
Surely it's ducks and drakes here.
No one, and I mean no one, could be as stupid as to pick Waqa again after that performance last week?
He scored -4 in fantasy points having played 73mins.
That's got to be the worst performance by a center in NRL history. If BA let's him run out again then I don't think it matters what our record looks like, he needs to be let go after this deal expires.
Slugg Snake and of went of that very bus when we went on our 2011 sex tour of the Balkans.
