Positives

I know we didn't win but lots of positives this weekend, our new forwards looked very impressive and I think Honeti Tahu showed lots of promise.

Great effort from the boys and coaching staff great defence of the title they won last year, very excited about our prospects this year, defence looks great.

  • We were undefeated in our pool and made the final four teams in the competition.
Not a bad weekend really :)

  • Lots of positives still some questions about where are points will come from this year.
  • Matagi was a stand out, and Brown wasn't far behind. Great signings, we'll be a feared pack.
  • Looking like it's going to be a competitive squad, exciting future for us
  • Positives - Matagi + Brown. Thought King was also solid and played plenty of minutes.

Negatives - Semi's lack of interest, Guth's haircut.

    • Semi looked like he hated every moment of the weekend
    • Semi is the the only one that was trying.
  • Positives :

Leaner meaner forwards. Cant think of one that didnt look better than how they presented last year.

Defence was very solid and I think we will be a very hard team to crack in 2017.

Attack was lacking but once again add TAKA & JENNINGS and NORMAN back in we will be fine.

Nice shape to our attack. We were cooked by the semi final- flat as as a tack.

  • Seeing our forwards take the ball on the advantage line and then plough into the defence full tilt. This was an area that we needed to work on and it was obvious from this weekends hit out that it's something that BA and the group have worked on.

Our defensive attitude was again fabulous. Everybody working for each other and a desperation that will win us NRL games.

Hard to single out individuals given the format but thought Tahu and Tepai showed some glimpses of what we can hope to see more of this season.
