Some people need to reflect on their thoughts and comments on how much we would have been beaten by tonight.
I mentioned upon reflection that the disappoinment of last week was part of us learning. If we had won last week, we would probably not have won tonight. I am always gratefull for the lessons learnt, because when you think you have it right something always happens to change it. Lets hope for consistency. Only then, can greatness come.
We will have games like last week again. Everybody does. But what we learnt cannot be taken back.
If anyone doubts the genuiness of our renaissance, go back and reflect on tonight's game and the one before it.
It is always so with Parra. But the ability is there. Some of those players will not be there in future games. But they can reflect on one thing: We are good enough.
We will get better just the same.

Frustrating. Don't bag refs usually but I agree totally, this ref deserves it.
Someone should investigate this bloke!! Given 95% of calls to the Wahs, and they're taking full use of them.
But as well when we do get the ball we drop it off poorly delivered passes.
The wahs lead 16-6 at the break, 3 trys to one, thru a dummyhalf pushover and running the ball from their own line, the full lenght of the pitch to score using only two tackles.
We'd have to tighten up ball control to have any chance.
JF is not at full strength. Players like Jim are liabilities in defence.
Bamblett is a fullback. Doesn't look anywhere near as good at 5/8
I understand we are under-manned EA.
But you can't excuse terrible ball-control continually shown by our juniors.
Its embarrassing and frustrating!
Make no mistake we could have won that game if we hadn't dropped so many balls.
Somebody must have given the ref the tip at the break as he gave us a go in the second stanza.
We had chances, one where our player just had to collect a bouncing ball in goal and ground it but at the last second the fullback beat him to it and knocked it dead.
I've discounted Lynn previously but today he was safe and led the side well under adverse circumstances.
He was certainly our best on field by a mile aided by Dom De Stradis.
Neemia looked out of puff thru out!
Good stuff Richard, with due respect for the great job EA does its good see a pair of old eyes out there watching these games as well. Experience is hard to find in a world of artificial intelligence, we are lucky to have EA and I think he has an assistant as well.
You guys should do a debrief as a group to end the season.
ps How did Renzo go in that Cup game....not very well I assume?
Great reporting EA, terrific read....You remain the man.
Roksuka gives his all and goes for it when there's a half chance.
Can't get over that ref first half. Was Miller the 22?
And you assume right Pop, Lorenzo was ordinary. He has to polish up his passing game.
Yea Miller was the overweight forward. The one that got sacked from tigers despite having a tigers top 30 contract and playing nrl. Long pre season ahead for him. Lot of potential if he gets his body right
Also EA whats happened to Chris Petrus.
You named him a gun last week-he certainly is!
No idea. Perhaps they are giving players a go since we have qualified for the finals? Never know the availability of players in the lower grades as no information is ever passed on. Ik that T Brown has a leg injury cause I have seen him in a brace. But no idea what kind of injury.
On the subject of referees, I watched most of the second half of the titans game yesterday and the ref in charge of that game was outstanding (I've never seen him before, assuming he's new to the top grade?). No nonsense, not a lot of chat with the players, he didn't tolerate players trying to milk penalties (he told a player that he wasn't going to get a penalty and asked him if he was ok to play the ball the game needs to continue), he was well positioned throughout the game which enabled him to make the right call. The commentators mentioned that he also played to a fairly high level so he had a good feel for the contest and a demeanour the players respected. I can see him climbing the refereeing ranks quickly.
