Some people need to reflect on their thoughts and comments on how much we would have been beaten by tonight.
I mentioned upon reflection that the disappoinment of last week was part of us learning. If we had won last week, we would probably not have won tonight. I am always gratefull for the lessons learnt, because when you think you have it right something always happens to change it. Lets hope for consistency. Only then, can greatness come.
We will have games like last week again. Everybody does. But what we learnt cannot be taken back.
If anyone doubts the genuiness of our renaissance, go back and reflect on tonight's game and the one before it.
It is always so with Parra. But the ability is there. Some of those players will not be there in future games. But they can reflect on one thing: We are good enough.
We will get better just the same.

I think with someone like Campbell you need to qualify the effort. He was making, trying to make tackles he should not have had to. This is another reason why statistics can be misleading for players. The effort can look ugly when you are isolated or left in a position to stop a play, but effectively you can't complete it.
The defence of Titans in the Warriors game was a disgrace.
I read Titans are wanting to throw the cheque book at Campbell and . . . yeah he is not kicking down the door at 7 so good luck Titans
💯 Riley needs to be extended. You can bet gus will be sniffing around.
Gus can fuck off lol, just show Ryley what happened to Reed 😂
Isn't he already re signed at same time as TDS
He is till 2027 but not on a huge deal,
I think he's building that consistency through repetition. Yes errors have been a problem but that's partly through playing a new style. We are obviously trying to move much bigger packs around through ball movement and that comes with some risk. It would have been very easy for Ryles to adjust throughout the year given our error rate in several games, but he has stuck solid and the more repetition we get in playing this way the better we will get at executing it. Last night was greasy conditions yet nearly everything stuck for us. The highlight for me last night was our scramble. Every single loose ball we were all over it, for the Toia try there were 4 guys chasing Marky mark to cover defend him. That willingness to compete on every play will take us a long way
Yep, agree with you 100% AE......
When you think about the "Alphabet Man" was the only player that looked like doing damage, the tries he scored and set up were freakish and undefendable. Full marks to him.
And not just scramble in defense. Continued scramble in attack too, so that 2-3 of our tries came from just continuing to play
Good points Daz, how often tries like Samrani scored happen for us. Going for the ball and going for the play make a hell of a difference. Against Souths we did not do those little things that way. I am still amazed how Moses picked up that try....sheer determination.
