Poore & Fui Combination

How much game time have these 2 spent on the field together?

At the dragons Poore was most effective when playing along side Weyman wasnt he? it would make sense that for Parra to get there monies worth out of Poore he needs to play as many minutes as possible with Fui Fui and Mannah.

I M O i thought that cayless should start in the back row and allow Poore and Fui to start and move to the frontrow after 25 mins. gives parras pack a stronger presence on the field.

i do make some outlandish statements at times but this could have some merit

  • Can't see Cayless being too effective in the second row, so why waste him there. Drop Cayless to the bench, Make Hindy & Cayless Co Captain's for when Cayless isn't on the field and you've got your 2 most damaging props on the field when they need to be and a leader in the front row with Mannah when they're off.

In my opinion I think this would work better but there's going to be alot of you guys who disagree I suppose...
  • Hugh i dont think that is such a bad idea i would rather see poore & fui start as well & get the hard work done early.
I think cayless could still play an important role i think he plays better when he passes before the line & have someone like morts running off his hip to look for a hole.
  • Cayless's strength lies in the amount of time he can play. if he could avoid some of the intial big body contact he could play most of the game allowing Fui an extra rest enabling to run even harder.

we could possibly finish the game with 2 out of 3 running props on the ground
  • Good idea. I would've started Cayless in 2nd row from round 1. Poore and Fui must start up front. Ben Smith back to the bench.
  • With the metres Mannah made last week we could see him forcing his way into a run on position.
  • I know a few people have been suggesting Cayless move to the second row for a while now.
He has a great passing game before the line for a forward, excellent offload, and i think would benefit from playing a little wider of the ruck.
  • DA has his prop rotation right IMO. Poore is just not playing well and will turn it around sooner or later.... combinations in the front row not like 1,6,7, and 9 combos...... head down bum up for the whole team and things will turn around...
  • they just dont seem to be dominating
