Every man and his dog knows that Harry Grant often runs from dummy half, yet it seems the Eels weren't prepared for that. You would think that after Grant's first try last night they would have tightened up their defence around the ruck. But no that didn't happen. At one stage Junior Paulo was the only player at the play the ball and Grant easily stepped around him. It is obvious that the top teams play a faster game of footy. Maybe the Eels will appreciate that after the Storm game last night.

Yep. It reminded me of 2018 when we got the spoon. The primary reason being crap defence around the ruck.
It was also how the Storm got us in golden point in the season opener.
Paulo should go back to doing his boxing pre-season, he came back that season fittest in the club and had his best year.
Ofahengaue is more mobile, think it shows how impactful RCG is. But I hope BA sits down with Paulo has an honest talk and see if Paulo gets a rocket for 2024.
Greig on the bench will be great but only as impact. But then again it's weird as when Greig started for RCG you didn't notice Paulo as much, guess Greig is a bit better than we think.
Agree Coryn, Ferguson was the best winger in the game for this and this asset was often overlooked because he made a few silly errors.
