I think people thought they were lying about Grant being underdone etc. obviously if grant is match fit he would be picked over Mahoney. But yeah that wasn't the case here and hindsight is an easy thing but Mahoney should have played 100%
Harry Grant missed 8 tackles, while the QLD centres only missed 6 between them. Therefore the Blues centres were given too much space, and the responsibility for that was in the middle, where Grant missed all those tackles. If Mahoney had played I reckon it would've been closer.
They rolled the dice and paid the price... Usually, these decisions work out well for Qldrs so it's nice to see them get flogged. I'm so glad Mahoney wasn't out there tonight after that, and glad he won't play in the next game because he would be copping some undeserved criticism if they lose again for sure. Let Harry cop some it.

"Issue is since they have done this they cannot go back. Dan Ginnane said that last year once you go to 27 rounds you cannot go back. If you do it is to 26 rounds.
Shorter season is exactly what Bennett is saying is the issue, i have said it for…"

Few people here were defending Grant's inclusion over Mahoney. Funny.

Not sure Mahoney would have changed the outcome - maybe he was lucky not to be responsible for QLDs worst ever loss
yea Mahoney wouldn't changed the outcome but he deserved to play over Grant.
Mitchell and Turbo were sensational tonight.
