Points of Emphasis

On Monday we play the Wests Tigers at ANZ Stadium which is said to command a crowd in excess of 40,000 people. Coming off a very impressive win over the reigning premiere the Rabbitohs the Eels will be looking forward to their first back to back win of the season. It won't be easy as Parra have won only once out of 17 times at ANZ and face a long list of players missing due to injury or suspension. Radradra , Champion, Paulo and Edward's to name a few. Here are some keys battles that must be won to ensure victory.1. Aaron Woods is the leader of the the Tigers pack it's imperative we gang tackle him . Tigers lose 88% of their games when Woods gets less then 110m.2. The Tigers attack from set plays is mostly based on where Tedesco the Tigers use his great pace to accelerate pass defenders to create over laps or pounce on a grubber from Luke Brooks. I am afraid that Tedesco may out pace Hopoate on those grubbers.3. Peats also must do what he done to Isaac Luke last week and smash Robbie Farah every time he touches the ball , Peats was a huge factor in Luke having a average game and he must do the same to Farah.4. I raved above how great Tedesco was in attack but on Defense it is a different story. He is found out position quite a few times, and really struggles to tackle one on one. The Tigers halves are very poor in defense (Brooks had most missed tackles last year) , I am hoping Mau and Moeroa abuse them all day long.5. Norman and Sandow must take outplay their opposing halves. We go as far as our halves takes us as they are our spark in our attack. A solid performance by our halves paired with our great line speed should less us to victory.

    Hello

  • I think Parra will lose. They just don't do back to back victories, which means they'll win the following week.
