Loved watching Dean come off the bench for us. One of the great impact players of the 2000s. That dummy and left foot step destroyed some coaches. I remember Nathan Brown saying after a game where he tore St George apart saying, "You know it's coming but you just can't stop it."
Was defo one of the great bench modern day players.
Underated foot speed too which we chat about and he reveals how he got good in that area.
Loved Dean Widders as a player. For a bulky guy, he was pretty deceptive speed wise, and possesed some silky skills!
I remember an in and away against Penrith once that had me watching it on replay several times!
For a forward he had some great trys. Similar to Tyrone Peachey just big enough for the forwards but plenty of speed to match the backs
