  • Loved watching Dean come off the bench for us. One of the great impact players of the 2000s. That dummy and left foot step destroyed some coaches. I remember Nathan Brown saying after a game where he tore St George apart saying, "You know it's coming but you just can't stop it."

    • Was defo one of the great bench modern day players.

Underated foot speed too which we chat about and he reveals how he got good in that area.

  • Loved Dean Widders as a player. For a bulky guy, he was pretty deceptive speed wise, and possesed some silky skills!
I remember an in and away against Penrith once that had me watching it on replay several times!

    • For a forward he had some great trys. Similar to Tyrone Peachey just big enough for the forwards but plenty of speed to match the backs

"Thing is, i feel we need to go with an identity of being a defensive juggernaut. Holbrook has great attacking teams but his defences are dreadful."
