I was thinking that we need to look at what players we need to concentrate on re-signing this year. These players are listed on https://www.zerotackle.com/rugby-league/teams/parramatta-eels/ that are off contract at the end of 2107.

What are your top 5 resigning priorities this year, so the Eels recent successful recruitment program continues to be successful?

  • I think Ualesi just re-signed last year for a 2-3 years didn't he?
    • I was sure I read last year on his resigning was for a deal at wenty

    • That's a bad deal on our part if that's the case, the guy isn't too bad a player
  • T Moeroa and frank Pritchard are the only two big names there the rest are fringe first graders..

We need a good 5/8th and a good hooker
  • I think most of these guys are on 1 year contracts. Obviously BA wants them to lift to the next level before he offers them an extended contract. It would seem that BA sees Tepai as a senior player of the future and wants him to show what he is capable of this year.

  • I only resign MOEROA, Tepai PRITCHARD, Frank TEREPO, Peni the rest if I resign would only be to wenty

  • Moeroa, Frank Pritchard, Alex Twal definitely, to bring it up to 5 would add Terepo and Tanginoa, just! both have had a few extensions so could be on last one unless really lifting. Big Frank could be huge for the club and if he enjoys the year could go another year, maybe two. Moeroa hopefully will be fully recovered with his shoulder and show out the promise he's got, and Twal like Tepi is young and very good future prop for the club.

Some have on the list have been given extensions to their previous one year deals, while others have come in basically play for a contract. Of those likely Auva'a & Niukore could be ones to watch.

    • good analysis CH

  • Is there a chance Foran could spend a year in NZ getting his head right then make a shock comeback to the Blue and Gold?
