Players leaving eels

At the game the following players are expected to leave eels:

- Davey

- Evans

- Field

- Gower

- Salmon

- Taka

- Terepo

- Stefano

- Watson Heleta

- Kyle Scheidier (suprising because he is a very promising player and also captain for u20s)

I may off missed 1 or 2 players. We have lost a few players and time to recurit well and fix any weakness in our depth since our starting 13 won't be changing.

  • Where is Taka going?

  • Terepo is like that liquid metal terminator guy in T2 , you just can't get rid of him. Expect him to sign on for a 5 year term in the coming weeks .

    • lol very good analogy Wiz

    • The T1000 in knife hand mode would still have better ball handling skills.

  • There is no one on that list worth keeping.

We need a couple of decent props on the bench.

We need Niukore to start in the 2nd row and for Lane to be realised.

We need a fast centre to replace Jennings.

    We need two new wingers.

Most importantly we need quality assistant coaches to cover BA's many short comings.

Looks like the start of another 5 year plan to me.

I reckon I will be lucky to have another 10-15 years left in me and am pretty confident I won't see another Eels premiership in my time.

    • Come on Barry, we can do it.

Blame BA all we want. It is the incompetance in the front office that is the problem. They obviously have no idea what it takes to win a premiership.

      • Care to elaborate on the incompetence of the front office?

I can help - extending Bushy's contract 18 months early - that should have been done mid season *NEXT YEAR*sigh*

So far O'Neill seems to have done a pretty fair job.

  • Disappointed Schneider is leaving - hope you are wrong
