Chances of this happening. On another note Payne Hass is available for talks as well.

'I'll get in first, and say he can be quality , he is not whom we should target, as he is not a mid season buy or a misdemeanour problem child looking for redemption, which are our normal buys.

Improvement to our squad - possibly , in demand- for sure!

So before we miss out and get told he was too sexy or too good for us, wanted too much money, isn't in our youth policy  wanted to live on a beach. yada yada yada Remember apparently Ryles / Club are interested in him, as being reported by Nine / Zero / The Mole and before the youth only pundits yell from the roof top he isn't and never was  in our plans, i'm just going to throw my own opinion away and say.

Why bother attempting to sign him, if the club uses the same methods of negotiation and the same fans think he's too good for us, the outcome has already been decided ! Hasnt it.

For information only - not for opinions that indicate he could improve our squad.

      • Lol. Exactly.  Parramatta have coin and every manager is putting our name on their player. Its simply putting their player in the shop window, as Parramatta sells papers.

      • Joel, does this article really state "expected to show interest"? Comical if true. Where is it out of curiosity: Zerotackle, TikTok, facebook? Sounds like it's written by one of our site's patrons to gee us up.

        • Nine.com.au.  Wide world of sports. The Mole. Insta, Facebook,

'There is a lot of gee up Hoe in what i posted for sure, there was meant to be. But i got the original from Nine.com.au.

Quote" Souths and Parramatta, the two clubs who missed out on Koloamatangi, are both expected to bid for Molo, who was a consistent performer for the Dolphins last season."

          • So yeah expected, again media beat up as we both lost out on Keaon so surely we go for Molo if we want a forward right?

Like saying we need a Halfback, go for Cleary, miss out and media say oh Sean O'Sullivan is available, he would be the Eels back-up plan.

But at the same time, it would also not surprise me if we were interested either.

          • Cheers, Bluey. So we don't really know if it's true or not basically. We're getting outraged on assumptions.

Do you (or anyone) have the link to the nine article? I can't find it on their site.

I might try to find out if it's bogus like that Paul Vaugnan story we got so ranty over. It was utter bollocks that we all assumed was true and lost our heads and pants over.

I'm not surprised it's on the mole, insta, Twitter maybe, probably Zerotackle. Just trying to figure out where the rumours started from. The source just as a curiosity.

              second story down.

Hoe apparently there are only three certainties in life that may be true.

              1. Death , 2. Taxes, 3 And Eels unable to close a contract. 😂🫡

              • Thanks, Bluey. Appreciate the link.

It’s from “The Mole” on Nine, before the usual rounds. What’s interesting is he quotes Molo’s manager but still frames it as “expected”, which sounds more like inference and guesswork than confirmation at this stage.

Media reports are often hit and miss, often utter bollocks, so I’m not assuming anything yet.

Ultimately, it’s up to Ryles. If he’s interested, the club will make a fair offer, their best, but they won’t panic or blow up the cap paying overs and repeating past mistakes. Ryles is on the same page. He doesn't want to blow the cap up either. He's sensible. He's been around the block long enough. We've got to maximize the space as we're not able to rort it like others.

Plenty of our recent signings came out of the blue, and many were questioned at the time. Unlike some on here, I don’t think all our players are crap (R&R signed them).

                • I'll say it again , I have absolutely no problem with Jason Ryles being our coach or his decisions . I fully support him and his ideas.  What I'm upset about is it appears the club cannot support him by  getting players he wants. That does not bode well in the end.

                  • That is an assumption and some fans projecting their own visions. Ryles is on the same page with management. Not being irresponsible & blowing up the cap with panic buys or nonsense optics. Ryles has been around the block enough and learnt from experiences. We've got to maximize the cap and not repeat past mistakes.

                  • They support his ideas, they let him get rid of Gutho, massive call for a rookie coach.

More so can they get what he needs or know how to get what he needs. Someone like Gould would try and get what he needs but also know a great plan B. We go for someone and take weeks to recover and go for the next.

"Yes, that's it. "If" Souths chase, it's understandable. Depth. "If" we do, it's a joke. Molo's manager says middle forwards are in 'hot demand', then the Mole assumes it's "expected" Souths & Parra will chase. Then, we get outraged. It would be…"

"Obviously Ryles thinks we are short a middle forward. Interesting considering most fans probably think we are short a centre/winger. I guess all we can do is trust and back Ryles."
