Just on Channel 7 news, Pirtek is the front runner to be upgraded in Sydney. Expected to cost about $300 million, with a complete knock down and re-build. Estimated capacity of 35,000 with a potential completion date of 2019 if given the green light soon. Great news for our club! They say it may be similar to AAMI Park, not sure if they meant design, or capacity, this wasn't specified.

Capacity they said would be 35k. Hope this starts at the end of our 2016 season. I will happily play at ANZ stadium for 2-3 years as long as afterwards we play 11 home games in Parra.
Tbh I'd rather play somewhere smaller where home ground advantage is actually a factor but unlikely to happen. Even Penrith would be okay. We played out of Belmore years ago, why not Penrith now? Our contract with ANZ means we'd probably play there and get a truckload of $$ for doing so
Probably just play at anz but I'd love it if tgey played at gosford so i wouldn't have to drive/train down

We'd get the same amount of people turning up to Penrith that we would turning up to ANZ but we'd get a lot more money from going to ANZ. Might as well make as much money possible whilst not playing at Parra so that we don't have to take any more than 1 game away from Parra in the future.
Ugh, short term pain for long term benefit. I just hope we still have Foran and other good players by the time it is finished.
Yeah, I just fear the lack of real home ground advantage, could turn into a disaster if we play poorly with no easy games at 'home'. The pressure would really mount on BA, unfairly, when we don't have a home ground. Let's hope we can learn to win at ANZ. If we don't make the top 8 with our side in the next few seasons I doubt BA will survive. And then we'd be back to Pirtek with less fans, bigger stadium. That's absolute worst case scenario though.
