A few interesting stats there, nicely compiled again ricky. Seems Sterlo did a bit of goal kicking as well. Didn't know that.
No worries, FME.
Yeah, didn't know that myself.
Much like they did with Ella, perhaps some of our fans can shed some light on the rare times Sterlo did in fact kick goals.
Can anyone shed some light on Paul Dunn's send-off in 95?
Yep I'd like to hear from anyone who remembers him kicking goals.
Agreed. Really couldn't see him kicking one from the side line. Probably only took kicks from in front.
Brett Garnon - haven't heard that name for many a year!
I remember a game against the Raiders in the late 80's. Bob Lindner was playing for us. We were down 22 zip at half time - the Raiders faithful were giving us heaps - but we came back in the second half and ended up winning 30-22. Big comebacks like that weren't nearly as common back then as they are now.
See, even going back nearly 30 years our footy team had a split personality, some things never change!
Cheers Ricky :)
Before doing these stats, I can tell you that I had absolutely no freakin' idea as to who Brett Garnon was, Kram, lol.
But it's refreshing in a way to learn more about the history of the club and some of the players that represented us during the earlier times of the club's existence.
S'all good. I'm glad it can bring back some nostalgia for you guys.
great minds Benny, great minds :)
They could if I included the score and half-time score of every game and I can do that from now if peeps want, but yeah, comebacks were a rarity back then.
Cheers, Benedict.
