Mark Piggy Riddell To me is a lost opportunity to the eels , he can play 5/8 and even half and we know he can be a dummy half all to well . he has even played centre.

SO WHY DIDNT EELS GO HARD FOR HIM OR WHY DONT THEY ?

This guy is a crowd favourite- he has every skill known and still busts lines every week .

What are your views on piggy ?

  • YES YES YES YES YES I GOT OPPORTUNITY SPELLING WRONG !!!!!!!!
  • The only accurate description. "All Rounder"
    I'm Ken Crapper
  • Good player thats bout it. SK dosent like his attitude we will be ok with out him.
  • If you read Hindmarsh' tweets yesterday, it's clear that pre-season training is absolutely tortuous. I can't see Mark being up to breaking his balls at this stage of his career on a second tier contract.
  • Good crowd pleaser but too old plus we have enough hookers and second rowers!!!
  • 1Eyed do you have Jacob Loko's Facebook? He is continually whinging over training and how hard it is. If he doesnt man up and stop sooking he shouldn't be a part of the club. Just think about how Hindmarsh how he has undergone seasons and seasons of training and he barely ever complains!
  • Parramagic - for all his size and shape LOKO - he is still only 17 and is pretty much a kid around men. He is struggling big time in certain areas but his silky skills with the football and sheer athleticism shows through. Dont worrry - they are all whinging and they are getting caned. Part of the hardening up process and breaking a close enough is good enough culture.

Piggy is a great crowd favourite but I doubt whether he can fit into what SK is trying to develop. The dominance around the ruck and getting into arm wrestle with teams was not Piggys strengths. Having said that i would have bought him - he knows where that white line is and has some mongrel.
    • My mate is the manager of Manly's S G Ball team & 90% of their problems is getting the commitment out of the kids - constant excuses to skip training or just not turning up at all - and from his reports the more talented kids are the biggest culprits even if they have a contract. Seems to be Loko and many like him are typical Generation Y, which is disappointing from a fans point of view.
  • WE SIGNED CASEY MGUIRE
  • He has been earning extras for his team mates by taking short cuts ( not getting both feet past the line on drills and little things like that) he doesn't do the extras by the way his team mates have to do them, it's all part of the working as a team process.
