Nice one brad, make sure you show us the final pics, you putting any eels logos on there?, sounds like a sweet build, what colour cables, pedals, brakes etc, you going the annodised gold or blue?
If i did the same project id use 70s bumper car style sparkles paint job in blue and yellow/gold, probably annodized gold accessories, get an eels badge for the front, something way out.

My top mate Al Hunt built a Parra BMX a little while ago. It had 1 yellow and 1 blue tuff wheel, blue and gold frame and those girly streamers coming out of the handle bar grips (blue and gold). It also had training wheels.
Anyway, he was getting close to completing the build and mentioned that he was starting to run out of cash. I noticed that he had the gold anodised seat pole but no seat filled. I generously offered to pay for a custom made seat but Al said he wouldn't be having a seat - dunno what THAT was all about.
Anyways, good luck with the bike mate, sounds awesome :)
