A lot of what he said is true and we still have to imprive a lot. We make some poor decisuons some times.
The Browns will be back over the next month so I'm tipping that will make a huge difference to the way we play. This year we were never going to reach the top, but it needs ti be a platform for tge next few years.
I agree with Phil Gould”s comments makes a lot of sense basically just stating the facts and not sugar coating it.
As we all have expressed the eels do not have any representative players to be a top side you need that to win premierships.
But Phil Hould how about you come from another angle and discuss why the eels have no representative players.
Is it our recruiting which I am sure has a part or let’s cut the bullshit the salary cap & TPA’s is a fu$$king joke.

That’s nearly 1 x origin team
This does not include the international players they also have or past rep players it’s hard to find a player in the roosters squad that has not played representative football.
The eels in the 80’s had many representative players and hey we won premierships.

Hmmm! Don't think so Brett! Ferguson has been playing well below his best except for first few games in Eels colours. If anything Ferguson has gone backward under the coaching of of Brad Arthur. As far as Gutherson goes there no ideal position for him to play and hes not an Origin player plus if he was to get a major injury playing Origin which is more aggressive then his career would be over with.
For what, Fergo is of the boil, and Gutho will never have the ability.
