Peter Langmack

I just caught a taxi driven by ex-eel Peter Langmack, older brother of Paul. He's a top bloke, was telling me some stories about how rough the game was back in the 70's. Got his teeth knocked out by a bloke playing for the Bears one game when he was king hit. Sure makes today's game look a bit soft

  • I know Peter we used to live down the road from him in Eagle Vale when we lived there, the olds used to get along quite well with him and his wife, then he moved to Palm Beach, not sure where he is at now.
  • Sure does. not like it used to be. That is a name I have not heard in a few years. My olds have been trying to track him down for years to let him know that his old neighbour passed away. Did he say where he is living? Could I ask where you you caught your cab from? Cheers.

    • Adrian, I got the taxi from Surfers Paradise, sounded like he lived somewhere close to the area too. If you ring up the taxi company (I think it was Gold Coast cabs) you might be able to get his info.

    • His son is a mate of mine

"Good blog, Pops — as always. Things often aren’t as bleak as they seem, or as idealized as we hope.
What gives me hope is the club's internal alignment now - no matter the predictable outside Doomsday noise. As long as that remains, I have hope.…"
