Peta Hiku.

There is some talk that a few Moanly players that could be moved on to accommodate Walker. Hiku is one. Considered he is signed till 2017 with them, I think we should try a sneaky play for him. Thoughts?

  • Anything that keeps Morgan,Falonk Jr or No try Toutai out of first grade is a good thing.

    Massive yes from me.

  • Is this talk the talk from this site, or is there real talk about him leaving Manly?

  • I'd love to see him in the blue and gold.

Obviously BA and Foz consult closely on any player signings. Foz has played with Hiku at Manly and with New Zealand. He will have a very good handle on Hiku's abilities as well as what sort of individual he is. I would imagine we would be an attractive destination for him as well with BA, Gowie, Choc and Foz at the club.

If he does come we will have made a well educated decision.

Dunno why, but I get the feeling this may very well happen.

  • If this does happen it may actually be easier to run a training session or two over at Brookie.

How many would that make? 4

How many have we given to them?

    • Foran
      Watmough
      Gutherson
      Gower
      Hasson
      Brad Arthur
      Peta Hiku

      Hiku would make seven.
  • OK

  • The NRL is really becoming comical. There is no point anyone signing a contact anymore. Yes players get paid but they become forced to move to save their career.
  • From memory he was offered big money to sign with the Warriors a couple of years ago but stayed with Manly for less money. Good to see Manly repaying the loyalty.
    • I think it was the dogs. Dessie wanted him to play fullback when Barba was leaving.
    • Like at most football clubs, loyalty only runs in one direction at Manly.
