Penrith sign Eels Schoolboy

Former Eels & Patrician Brothers Blacktown lock-forward has reportedly signed a deal to join the Penrith Panthers for the 2025 season. In addition to this I’m led to believe that our other schoolboy from this year Lachlan Coinakis has left the club.

    Tyson Sangalang to Penrith

    lachlan Coinakis unknown

  • Zero tackle article

A former winger for the Parramatta Eels, Lorenzo Mulitalo, has signed with a new team for the 2025 season.

The twin brother of Cronulla Sharks winger and New Zealand international Ronaldo Mulitalo, Zero Tackle, can reveal that Lorenzo has signed a one-year contract with the Burleigh Bears in the QLD Cup competition for next season.

The Bears, an affiliate of the Brisbane Broncos, finished in seventh place in 2024 and recently re-signed Sam Coster and Guy Hamilton for the upcoming season as they look to take the title off the Norths Devils.

  • Is this a case of the rats fleeing the sinking ship?

    • Parra being the "sinking " ship?

      • Just a metaphor GM.

    • Perhaps, though Sangalang was used on the bench a lot in SG Ball all year, might be game time issue.

    • No, on the contrary, it's a sign that the Penrith conveyor belt is starting to fray and they need to raid our stocks to fill their gaps. Parra will need to on on top of this to keep the players we feel will be good NRL players in the future.

  • Im waiting for ol cone head Hooper to be writing a great article tomozz ....Parramatta Eels go from worse to catastropie as they let another origin ready and soon to be HOF recipient go to their arch rivals....

    hahaha

  • Could this be an Isaac Moses ordeal? Just wondering if he pulls some strings to screws us further. Or is it we simply did not think they were that good? Or even simpler they didn't want to be here.

    • All of the above, I doubt that this is newsworthy.

But a big reason he's making this impact is because a lot of starch has gone out of the game so his energy and enthusiasm comes to the fore…"

"Yea I like Samrani as a 17 rather than a starting backrower. Tuilagi will probably be selected this week with Guymer back on the bench or cup. Latu needs a couple more games in Cup before being a chance of NRL selection I would think."
