Penrith are rumoured to be interested in former Eels winger Ken Sio.
The 25-year-old has spent the last two years with Hull KR and was linked with a return to the NRL earlier this year.
Should Sio join the Panthers that would all but spell the end of the Jennings brothers, George and Robert, who have struggled to force their way into the NRL side.
It could also mean the end for Josh Mansour with social media suggesting he could be off to the Roosters

How come the rorters seem to be able to sign anyone that is available on the open market but never go over the cap?
Ive watched a few ESL matches and all the ones I have seen him in he has been playing fullback whilst dixon was injured and Sio was absolutely killing it but not so much with the goal kicking. Why parra let him go we will never know
I would love to see him back here with the Eels. Versatile player and great finisher
Sio is performing damn well in the SL at present.
Leading try-scorer for Hull KR and showing some good versatility. He's played fullback, centre and wing this year for them.
I always rated him and was disappointed when we let him go. If the opportunity ever arose, I'd like to think the club would try and sign him back as we let go of him just when he was hitting his straps.
Of course, we had to choose between he and other players at the time, with said other players chosen over Sio as they were cheaper to retain.
Could always make a good opportunity for himself and was one of the best finishers we've had in recent times.
Toutai, & Foloau? Sio would match the pair of them. Was a more damaging runner, & read the defence better than the both of them.
I was a big fan of Sio's.
He was always in the right place at the right time. He knew when a cut-out was headed his way and had a knack of quietly getting himself into position to show up his opposite. He and Hayne had an excellent understanding on the paddock. Great finisher.
$$$ requested by his manager.
