  Five/eighth
  Halfback
  Hooker
  Prop, and a
  Bench prop
  
  From their top side. Imagine us playing without that amount of players. Scary thought.

    Yep. And yet their season last year with the same coach and GM, and mostly the same roster, was one to forget. The team seriouesly underperformed and were lucky to make the 8.

    Cowboys make GF, then fight us for the spoon the next year with a better roster. 

    Tough competition to predict. I think it goes to show that one or two problems in the background with players/personalities can have a huge affect.

    I'm hopeful 2018 is a nothing more than a big hicup and we return to being a good/ tough team under BA again

  I hope Brad Arthur is watching this game. He should be raiding the juniors of Penrith. Unfortunately Brad Arthur doesn’t know wat young talent is. He prefers to look at 30 year olds. Penrith cannot keep them all.

    X2, Blue and Gold.  Their depth is ridiculous, instead we have to go to market to sign wingers let alone front rowers, dummy halves etc etc.  Our junior system is a mess.

    We've got some good juniors. They're just a bit young yet. 2020-21 should be good if we can keep them.

  Amazing depth. This is what we should be aspiring to at the Eels. We really shouldn’t have to buy a whole host of players.

  This game tonight is just further proof how far off the pace we are with BA???

  Have we ever beaten a team like this the last few years with such authority???   And with so many out it makes a mockery of our club and what they are trying to do.

  The concerning thing is that it has taken close to 7 years to get Penrith here.  With top class coach (Cleary) and Gus.

  They got rid of some gun players Lewis, Jennings and more recently Cartwright and Moylan.

  Their culture is rock solid (no dick heads or princesses) and their facilities are second to none.

  We will are the poor brother now.  

  In our new stadium ....how embarassing......lol

  This Penrith team is the youngest put out all season, just further makes a mockery of BA's experience first mantra.

  No problem Arthur - while Penrith were signing Kikau for 300k we were negotiating with Beu Scott on 600k
