"Good mate. Happy to hear that your wife is doing well. Say hello 👋 cheers 🍻 "
"You would like to think Moses might be that attraction to bring the mentioned into the mix.Maybe it was him that got Lomax in the door."
"I like Will, he is a quality NRL Centre. He is still only 23 and is playing game 100 this week. How many players that young have played near that? Players dont hit their prime til around mid 20's.
I am more than fine with this extension."

Yep I'm interested to see if we have enough guile to steal away someone high profile or entice a difference maker in a position of weakness in our team.
I see now Parra are in a dogfight to even try and land Moale of all players.
Penisini another head fark of a player his form has been better off as late but it's not the stuff we need to here. You'd like to think they'd be able to upgrade a position or 2 cough centre and middles unless they think Russell and Penisini are the answers going foward obviously they do in this case.
I wonder if the could attract pensini's old mate Sua'li to the club after the RWC.
All we can do is win games, do that and chances of landing big fish increase of course.
You are right, land that big fish or two and everything be behind to take us more seriously as they do already.
100 winning is important to improve what you say.
I'd like to think if we were to chase a Sua'li as an example or alike our recruitment people would be mentioning interest now getting on the front foot.
Sometimes it takes one player that is influential and others want to join. I find it hard to justify the price of getting Tino for around $1.5mil but the players that will join for him being there?
When we signed Foran that was the idea, players would follow and we signed Jennings and Scott in the process.

Hang on a sec. Da Silva wasn't even on the market at the start of the year, then he agitated for a release. We were clearly lacking in the hooking department. There was us, Manly and Newcastle all in for him and he said he wanted Parra.
This idea that we can't get anyone is bullshit.
Yes the Galvin thing was a pain in the ass.
But, and I keep saying this, the majority of recruitment in the NRL are these types of signings. They're not the Galvins. They're signing guys like TDS because they suddenly become available. Like Dylan Walker.
The club has been very upfront that the preference moving forward are juniors and guys they can develop. I don't know why this is such a surprise? Wasn't the issue 2 years ago that we couldn't retain juniors?
Now we're prioritising juniors it's a problem? Make it make sense.
In terms of absolute needs, I think a big middle forward is needed and perhaps a centre. The issue with centre though is it appears Simonsson is no longer leaving.
If you look across our team and the players now available, what "difference maker" would be filling a position of weakness?
You look at the spine and with Iongi, Moses and Smith/TDS I think we're fine. Five-eighth is still a question mark to an extent but I like what I've seen from Joash and with Talataina coming through I'd be hesitant to recruit someone who'd block Renzo.
I wouldn't change our wingers for anyone.
Earlier in the season I'd have wanted another backrower but the form of Jack Williams has been outstanding while Tuilagi has improved and Kit Kat was beginning to kill it before his injury while Samrani is definitely that type of depth player you want. Guymer has really grown into his role on the edge.
Like I said, I'd like another middle. I think someone to really bolster the pack would help. That being said, we're probably close to filling those ranks. Paulo, Hopgood, JDB, Tuivaiti and Moretti are all NRL level and Hopgood and JDB can both shift to lock if needed. Dylan Walker is our out and out lock. You then have Doorey as back-up with Williams and Guymer both able to play in the middle if needed.
Joel, with that heading i thought it was going to be a personal storytime of an upcoming procedure.
congratulations to Will and on his 100th game this weekend. Has really turned the corner of late under Ryley
As wizard said im not against this but i hope he he a has a big year next year he got the build to be a great centre he just got to come out and show it
