  • Surely not we need more big bodies. I'd offer similar money for Pengai jr man he can play but if we can't get him I'd take any of the young props at the broncos ofahengaue or even the young guy hass I think his name is he's yet to play 1st grade but he's massive and they have big wraps on him
    • Soloman. Brandon smith to play 9. Pengai and paulo. Get them now aurthur.
  • Payne haas that kid can play.

  • Yes, we need him and Kafusi from Melbourne, both off contract. With these 2 and Paulo we will be in business next year after the clean out
    • Kafusi has extended with the Storm.

  • Jake friend seems to be on the outter at the roosters
  • Jake Friend is a poor mans Matt Keating these days.

  • Brisbane will never let him go.

I understand the fans frustrations because looking at the forwards pack that Arthur's built - even the biggest dribblers on here would have to admit it's one of the softest packs the Eels have submitted for a long time. .......

And if the dribblers think ba is immune from criticism for not building a better forward roster - they have an agenda to defend the club at all costs and are Eels fans by default.

    • Chief, I am wondering whether the coaching situations that are developing at both the horses and rain boys down south may influence some players and their futures.  Bellamy is weighing his options beyond this year and looks certain to leave there. Rumours and reports has him taking over at the horses, but Bennett is rejecting all of that as he says he's not going anywhere, does he have a contract up there for next season?

With Bellamy, I see Smith and Slater retire from playing if he goes, that may mean some other players could go. If there are coaching issues at the horses, then players may want to move on.

As I said elsewhere, we have 29/30 players off contract over this an next year, it will free up some money to get players, but I hope that any big signings will not be too far over the money they are worth, as it would mean less to spend in general strengthening of the team.

    •  boring....boring....boring....seems some people are just happy in their unhappiness.
