Yep agreed. I like that. Melbourne should have had 1 in the bin after 1st tackle and probably a second after the second tackle but who cares if there is only 7 seconds left on the clock
I’m not a fan of smiths, but i can’t blame him in this occasion every club including Parra deliberately give away penalties just before half and full time.
Yeah that's correct, thats a failing of the rules that any player would exploit. It's the character flaws he has that makes him a borderline sociopath (or psychopath, I get confused) where he is incapable of empathy for others and is focused on what he desires.
We saw it with McKinnon and again tonight with McDonald, and no doubt made it easier for him to reconcile cheating by signing multiple contracts in the salary cap.
Nigel, there is no doubt that they will make Smith an immortal. In my opinion he isn’t and doesn’t deserve to be classed as immortal. I believe to be classed as an immortal you needed to have had such an impact on the game that you changed the way it is played, and after you have finished your career every generation after needs to play your style. Smith has not done that he has simply just been really good at how the game was already played and has not added a new dimension to playing the game.
True, and also apparently part of the criteria is that they have to be a complete cleanskin on and off the field. He definitely doesn't qualify on that criteria. Immortals are meant to role models that are placed on a pedestal for future generations to look up to.
The other thing that gets to me is the media is not allowed to mention the cheating when they speak to him or about him. Obviously it shouldn't be brought up every time, but it shouldn't be forgotten either.
Paul Kent has been the only one who has mentioned it on 360 earlier this year. Ikin didn't know how to respond.
"Zac Lomax has effectively got out of his very under market value 4 year contract he signed. If he was to come back to the NRL he'd be on a lot more coin than if he'd stayed in his original contract with us. Win for Lomax whatever he does"
"I am trying my best bit I am having trouble with the fools.......Re...
No fools like an Old Fool! .....Sorry that's not right, they are called Tools.....you qualify Chiefy!"

Yep I agree. Full set and they should have been sent to the bin.
Dirty grubs.
Now you cant spoil Cameron Smith's record breaking result especially playing in Qld!. The result was already set in concrete.
Is it just me or has his goal kicking seriously gone down hill this year.
I agree that they should be played out.
I also would like to king hit Cameron Smith and wipe that smug smile of his face. Don't care if I do prison for it.
Did you see him laughing when McDonald broke his leg? Then his complete disregard for McKinnon in that tackle.
True immortal of the game. Wonder how many contracts he signed this year.
