    Hi no knob, i just want to say that i am a fanatic eels fan but yes i run a security company, including bouncers , i set the current standards an my team are so well drilled and trained , we are professional and any guard out of line gets no 2nd chances with me. My sole duties are to protect public,staff and property ect. I totally agree some security is disgracefull, but please remember there are also dedicated great men and women doing a tuff job , we also save many lives each year. But until there is a major overhall , we will continue to get a bad name. It is a shame for the guys that do follow protocol and play by the books. As for all bouncers needing a punch in the head , i have worked for last 5 years bouncing and have never had it coming to me, i treat every person with respect and avoid fights when ever possible , This has given me a great name at every place i have worked . The only time i have got physical is when weapons were drawn , peoples lives in immediate danger and protecting children . I hope i dont deserve a punch for that . Cheers

  I got smacked over the head and tackled by a bouncer at the Mean Fiddler in a case of mistaken identity.
  Then about 4 of my friends grabbed him off me then it was on for young and old haha, I out of principle refuse to go back to the place though.
  
  The worse thing is some bouncers are actually really good blokes, though some of them just do it for the power trip.

  I don't live there but when i was down in Wollongong early this year the bouncers were disgraceful! I sat outside the Glasshouse with my Kebab (mmmm late night lamb sambo) and watched in horror at the way they were picking fights with patrons trying to get in after the 2am cut off. The Glasshouse bouncers and the bouncers at the other niteclub across the street joined forces when an all in brawl broke out in the middle of the street. Not much restraint was shown at all. The brawl was between 2 groups of young blokes but they decided jumping in and administering a few cheap shots, mainly head kicking, was the best way to break it up. Fucken wannabe hero's if you ask me. Being in the security game myself, this is something you dont want to see.. although bouncer work isn't my particular forte.... Too many dickheads involved in that! There are some good 1's out there though, like in any job, there are good and bad elements and personnel.
  
  On Pele (does his name mean he can kick?). Everyone deserves a 2nd chance and maybe escaping to a new environment is what he is looking for to get serious about his footy. Let's hope! Haven't seen him in action though, but he looks like a big strong unit.....

  One wrong move and this bloke could be back on a plane to the Gold Coast!!!
  
  I agree 100% bring the mongrel to the club but in a controlled state and on the field only!!

  Yeah mate. Most bouncers up here are downright maggots, but you do get the odd few who go out of their way to serve & protect.
  
  Good on him I say, there's plenty on times where I would have done the same thing if I had the size of this guy.

  I think the roosters should have signed him.... with willie and sa most likely to leave it only leaves Myles, Carney and Friend to mess thinngs up. They should do okay by themselves but they should bulster their stocks with a troublmake or 2.
