Lets talk some footy - Both off contract this year and both are very different players, I feel our team at times has lacked a bit of creativity out of Hooker and after watching a few Canberra & Cowboys games Hodgson & Granville really add another element to both teams.
Peats is great defensively and has a ton of heart, I really rate him. I am still not sold on Prittchard who is very similar to Peats, I just don't think they question the defensive line enough.
De-Gois would be my pick if he just had that extra yard of pace, which he did have 4-5 years ago.
In a perfect world, I would love a bloke like Peats as a run on and Segiaro off the bench, but I highly doubt James would cop that these days. I do feel Segiaro looses quite a bit of impact being an 80 minute player. In my opinion they are both evenly matched in quality but are completely different players. Both also have injury issues too.
My main question would be, bang for buck who is worth more on the open market. I'm maybe leaning toward Segiaro.
Up the EELS....

So if you had the option of Hodgson, Granville, Segiaro or Peats, you'd run with Peats because he is uniquely suited to the team? I don't think so...
Segiaro for sure.
Well having Segiaro as a roomy of Normans might give us an opportunity at the negotiation table.
I like Peats but hes had a lot of injuries.
I wouldnt be upset with either, but we dont need both. That would be too much pressure on the cap.
Yea I understand we definitely can't have both, but having someone like Segi would be the icing on the cake, plus another forward obviously after loosing Jnr.
You're worried about signing new players when we may actually have to release some as part of our penalty.
just trying to talk some footy champ ....lighten the mood a little!
