Peats did say that he would be back for the Dogs game ages ago on twitter. Luckily in the time that peats was out we had 2 byes.
This game on Friday could make or break our top 8 chance. I don't like playing Canterbury after the loss last night, and us coming off a bye does not always go well. Anyway, if we are good enough so be it. Hodkinson leaving Canterbury could also help if he is not feeling the love our Belmore way.
Hopefully we will have them both back this will tighten us up.
Given that the Bulldogs will be hurting after losing to Brisbane at ANZ. their big forwards come out agressivee next start to ensure that they don't lose two in a row and especially at ANZ. Our forwards will need to be up in their faces so they don't get a roll on.We need to be on song with very little errors so restricting the amount of ball they get and Sandows kicking game needs to be accurate such that it is directed towards the corners giving our defence a good chance to box them in.
Given we have had a good break over the last 3 weeks and the Bulldogs coming of a tough loss against the Broncos we should be able to match them physically and our attack should be able to get over the top of them.
This is the game that will give us a real idea on how we measure up against the top 8 teams. If we play like our last game against the Tigers we will get found out very quickly. I know BA will have the boys mentally prepared for the onslaught that they will face and the confidence and momentum that has building over the past 5 weeks will continue to build.

The Dogs biggest strength plays to our biggest strength. They have a huge forward pack that generates heaps of ruck metres but at the same time we have a good defensive line speed that shuts down a lot of that, so it will be a huge battle in the middle of the field for position. As you said we need Sandow to be on point with his kicking game and it'll be a huge risk but can also comes with a high reward, I'd like to see Sandow kicking the ball as soon as we get near the 40 metre line. Drill the ball into a corner and have a huge chase, get their big men turning around as much as possible. Hopefully Robbo comes back for this game so that we see Norman move back into the halves, we really need that creativity closer to the ruck and that speed just a fraction wider of the ruck.
