Peats out of the all stars.

Dyldam Parramatta Eels hooker Nathan Peats has today withdrawn from the Indigenous All Stars side ahead of the 2016 Harvey Norman Rugby League All Stars at Suncorp Stadium on February 13.Peats will miss the All Stars fixture as he continues his rehabilitiation work following surgery on the C6 verterbra in his neck in late 2015. The Blue and Gold dummy half is expected to make his return to the field in early 2016.Cowboys skipper Johnathan Thurston and Roosters centre Blake Ferguson have also withdrawn from the match, with Jamie Soward (Penrith Panthers), Edrick Lee (Canberra Raiders) and Craig Garvey (Bulldogs) all being added to the Indigenous All Stars squad.

  • I know he is fine from what I have heard of him training but I am happy to see this. Another nothing game. The guys are being managed for what I expect to be a long season for us hopefully.

    Another injury prone season will see his value decrease and his suitors decrease as well.
