I'm sure we all got a little scared when Peatsy got injured. He recently tweeted this on his official twitter account after getting many well wishes tweets:
Hoping he will be okay for next week.

One of the first players picked in our side every week, have read plenty of blogs on this web site about not resigning him, but to me he is a must, love him and hope he is fit to smash the dogs.
Yep, I'd prefer that too. Would rather him miss 2-3 weeks now (or if longer if need be) than him play next week and then miss the rest of the season from making the injury worse.
We have great depth in his position. IDG will come straight in due to his defence and Pritchard will remain on the bench. Still not sure what the go is with King.
I'm not a huge Peats fan and am regularly critical of his attack but must admit last night until injured was one of our best. He made a few scoots from the half way line that really took the pressure off our forwards.
I don't know how you can't be a peats fan to be quite honest. Defensively there's no doubting his ability. And I think he is great in attack too. He's definitely in the top half of the better NRL hookers.
I'm with you Nick - 9's need to be productive from dummy half - last night we saw just a hint that he is willing to start testing defenders again from dummy half
Unless this part of his game improves dramatically - I would not re-sign him. He will be wanting top dollar - he has yet to play extended parts of seasons due to injury.
He's a 70's or 80's style hooker playing in a generation that does not suit his game. he's really just a small second rower that tackles his heart out - fair play there - and that's not a criticism - but in the modern SPINE focused game - you need a point of attack from dummy half that takes pressure off the halves and can open it up out wide - as defenders would have to account for the IMPLIED THREAT from dummy half - Sorry , Peats aint that guy.
Solid clubman but not worth a big dollar contract IMO - he's one guy I would let walk
"Lomax isnt on our cap, hes was released and cap space freed. his breaking the condition of his release, we should not be settling for a mid level player unless its multiple players.
if we were smart he would not be playing rd1 against us either. "

Really good to hear it wasn't a broken arm. Peatsy is tough as nails and we really need players like him in the team.
