  • Who else was going to pay that much for him. How many missed talked Wed night? Zero runs from dummy half, Smith gave him a good lesson.
  • He's overrated . Good luck to him . Now we need to start looking at the wealth of Hookers that are off contract next season because Pritchard isn't going to cut it .
  • I think like with Hayne we missed the bullet with this signing. Peats is a good hooker but very injury prone. We would have paid a lot of money for a hooker who would be injured for half a season. Im happy atm with the King/Smith/Pritchard combo and bring along some of our young hookers. What we do need is a couple of big forwards to get our pack moving forward. At present we have a top 4 backline and a reserve grade pack (with the exception of Brown and maybe Mau).

    • There's an old saying "forwards win matches backs determine by how much". Don't under sell our forwards. What do you want? A massive pack like the raiders, dogs or sliding dragons ? I'll take our boys any day.
  • Smith and King on rotation

king to start with smith off the bench. we have :

    - defence
    - attack
    - stamina
    - smarts

  • Good luck him. We burnt him. However, I think they paying overs and we don't do that anymore.  Kaysa and King are our future

    • Wasn't he off contract at end of the year anyway ? I don't really think we burnt him as much as he made out in the media . We dug him out of reserve grade and gave him an opportunity, he spent a fair amount of that time with us injured , and when we were in strife we pretty much moved him on half a year early .

Yeah , it was unfortunate he had to be one of the guys to go , but we were pretty good to him overall .
  • Agreed with all above. Tits payed overs, and where getting good mileage/value from our current stocks.
  • All the best to him his missus had a bub last Friday so his future is looking good. Anyone bagging the bloke on here is a grub and have short memories.
  • Agreed, as tough as one of my grandmothers T-bone steaks and just as skilful..

"Start Samrani either centre or wing. He smashed the sharks and the chooks. Was fast, tackle-busting and once he set his eyes on the try line it was curtains for the opposition.
I'd start him on the wing as not to disrupt Rusty and the combos set up…"
