Pauli Pauli charged by MRC

Pauli Pauli has received a Grade One dangerous contact charge but will escape suspension if he enters an early guilty plea.

Pauli was handed the charge following a perceived late hit on Panthers five-eighth Jamie Soward during the Eels' Friday night clash against Penrith.

    • Pathetic mate . If I didn't hammer the halves back when I was player . Coach would've gave me a gobful
    • There driving the product through the ground
  • How is it dangerous contact?

It was not high, it was not late.

Where is Moylans hit on Semi? Same thing.

    • Micky that's different that was a Penrith play doing it to a Parramatta player

  • Is it better to take the 75 and risk an Isaac Luke
Or take the 100 and be on zero
I guess we are just trying to win the next game
    • With DG likely to come back in I would fight the charge.

  • I could not see how they could suspend him, they only have too show the B Scott tackle & that's that they have no room to move on it this year due to the earlier precedent
  • Again MRC inconsistency here. Beau Scott not charged but Pauli Pauli is. I'm just glad that he's still available to play but it's complete BS that he's been charged.

      • What about the late hit on Sandow very same game
