Pauli Pauli

Pauli is one of these guys that sometimes I just have to sit back and think what is he doing? He has the potential to be a absolute dominate forward in the NRL but he just sits out wide and waits for the ball. I really don't know what it is about him but it looks like he has a "to cool" attitude about him, he just sits out wide and chews bubble gum every game. On the other hand we have a second rower with the name Manu Ma'u who is a absolute gun and half the size of Pauli who runs his heart out each and every week and gives it his all. Why does Pauli just seem to "float" in and out of each game? Maybe it has been due to the injuries we have had this year BA hasn't been able to use him the way he has wanted to? Pauli to me seems to be like another Tony Williams. Whenever Pauli gets the ball he never thinks to run over someone and to keep the legs pumping he seems to hit the defensive line and lunge his body into the defence instead of continuing to run. I really hope that he can pull his finger out and really have a dig because I think that he does have potential. If it was me i would be throwing him into the middle and using him as a prop to get him running the ball harder and getting him more hit ups. I think he needs a big off season in the gym to get a bit of his baby fat and to build him up a bit. In saying all of this I do really rate the kid and hope he goes far in the game because he defiantly has the potential

we will be much more potent going forward next year as he , Paolo and Tepai mature.
