Paul Vaughan and Shaun Fensom

Paul Vaughan and Shaun Fensom cant crack the first grade squad at the Raiders anymore.Ive always been a fan of the 2 especially Vaughan. We could definitely use a big bopper at the club.Should we be having a crack at them?

  • Both good players, Fensom could be good insurance in the back row for when Scott leaves. And Vaughan is a great youngster, would definitely welcome him.

    • No to Fensom, we have enough back rowers but need at least another big body prop and he would be ideal. Would think Canberra must be under cap pressure, paying $700k for Paulo is a lot of money to go on their cap next season.

  • Would take them both on modest contracts.
  • I don't think either would be released by Canberra.  Vaughan is a good frontrower with size and would be a good pick up.  Fensom is a clone of Scott and would not value add our squad.

    • Not so sure about that Dave.
Canberra would be under some Cap pressure next season and both are playing for Mounties.
    • I believe Kaysa, John Folau & Vai Toutai are already in our Top 25.
  • Vaughan a massive yes, Fensom a massive no. Absolute plodder.

  • I'd defiantly take Vaughan
  • I wouldn't touch fensom . Vaughan would do even better under BA with some of Mau's and Scotts attitude rubbing off.
  • Vaughan absolutely

"The PNG national squad always does OK, plus the grassroots are already established. Plus, the entire country loves the game. I'd be more optimistic of PNG fielding a compettiive side over Perth. "

"Need way more than that, majority of the players signed would be their depth. Even that is rubbish. As Johnny mentioned too, juniors will be hard to come by.
