    yeah thats why i asked if anyone knew the meaning of it, its pretty bad timing on his part tho to put that name on his arm, even tho i think it maybe spelt differently.

  Yeah it's some 5-6 year old kid that died.. Good on him for that, though I'm not a fan of him as a player.

  Yes it's defiantly for the young fella who has recently passed away. His wish was for his name to be written on a players arm so Gallen decided to go one better and write it on his arm all year!

  The name is for a young boy, all of 8 years of age, who recently passed away with a very rare form of Cancer of the brain. So rare and pretty much non curable that doctors in Australia outsourced treatment from the states who in turn had nothing but bad news. Any way Kieran was a mad Cronulla fan who in his last days spent pretty much 20-22 hours asleep drugged up to the Eye balls due to his pain. His last wish was for the Sharks to win a Comp. and to gallens credit he often visited Kieran and regularly kept appraised of his condition. Anyway, in the last moments of his life Kieran was drugged and not able to watch the blues win their final game but did wake in time to see Gallen kick the goal. I guess that is something the little guy wil take from this earth with him. As a tribute Gallen has had Kieran's name on his wrist as a mark of respect and Rememberance. Gallen and the Sharks recently took part in a fundraiser for the family. For all his faults, Gallen has hit a home run with this case!!!!
