Paul ‘Fatty’ Vautin hospitalised with fractured vertebrae

THE Footy Show host Paul “Fatty” Vautin is recovering in hospital after being struck by a branch on the Gold Coast.

The rugby league great suffered a fractured vertebrae after being hit by the falling branch while playing golf.

Channel 9 reported the injury was as a small fracture in his neck.

Vautin said he will be OK and will make a full recovery.

  Well I suppose he's had enough good luck in his life. Played footy from when he was a kid til he was 30 odd, hes been hosting the footy show since he retired and plays golf every day.
