I think the reason he is still unsigned is because he isn't cheap. Given his age and attacking performance, he obviously has a lot of potential. He is obviously holding out for some club willing to pay him based on this. Obviously the market is shrinking every day as teams finalise their 2024 rosters but he is young enough that back ended contracts would be attractive to clubs.
Surely his price drops if nobody wants him.
I'm sure teams want him. The problem is he could be the best centre in the game in two years or he could be a total dud. How do you put a price on that level of risk?

This one could've been playing SG Ball this year. Instead he broke 52 tackles, defended at over 80% and won 5 NRL games. He's no Suaalii, but he defended better at the same age, in a significantly worse team. He has massive potential.
Yeah not sure if a project of a Centre is what we need right now, we need a Centre with some experience. Yet i am all for Billy Smith yet he has only played 7-8 more NRL games. But Smith has played more NSW cup footy and is 4-5 years older and stronger.
