Passion

After watching the GF and the passion the souths fans and players showed has got me thinking... Do we as fans have the same passion and do our players bleed blue and gold. As it appears with the souths players. The pride they showed made me a little jealous. What's ur thoughts as fans as I would love it if we had a song and the players bled for the jumper.

  • Yes, of course Parra fans have the same passion

And let's be clear here, WINNING solves alot of problems. When ANY Team is winning, "passion" seems more obvious over there where the grass is greener.....and in this case, red and greener

But how do you become winners ?

You need to recruit well of course...................but Parra has done that

You need a good coaching staff of course........but Parra has done that

But you ALSO need LEADERSHIP - a void that remains unfilled at Parra in 2014 and will remain at Parra until Parra gets a genuine leader.

want to see what Souths have and Parra does not - WATCH ALL OF THIS

This is what REAL Leadership looks like, from the owner Crowe and Captain Burgess see THEIR Leadership and what it brings both on and off the field

To be Passionate players - you need a Leader that can create an atmosphere that magically transforms into Team Spirit

    Parra needs a Leader

Now, as for fans, Parra ARE passionate, as passionate as any.............And let's be clear here, WINNING solves alot of problems. When ANY Team is winning, "passion" seems more obvious

  • Souths fans are a bunch of grubs which was exemplified by that showing.

What a load of rubbish HM - The lone IDIOT does not a fan base make my friend

Souths fans are great, what are you talking about ?

Please, in detail, provide a comprehensive list of Souths fans mis-deeds to warrant such a fool hardly accusation of GRUB ?

    Your list..............

    I'm waiting............

or a simple apology will do - how on earth can you vilify an ENTIRE fan base due to one IDIOT

    Your list..............

    I'm waiting............

    Your list..............

  • Parra fans shit all over em!!
  • Parra fans burnt down a stadium for gods sake .

I would say we are passionate

Players - well as Tele says winning breeds passion and solves everything
    • Parra fans burnt down a stadium for gods sake .

Brilliant !!! - here are some of the many ways Parra fans USE their stadium to show how passionate they are

      1. Burn it Down after Winning First Grand Final

      2. Make a Shrine with some of the left over fence palings

      3320962390?profile=RESIZE_320x320

      3. Continue to go NUTS luvin' our Team - 28 years since some saw our LAST GF Win & while MANY have NEVER even seen a GF win

Yes, I'd say Parra fans are JUST as Passionate

  • Wasn't one of the reasons they were kicked out because their "passionate" fans couldn't be bothered turning up to watch them at games? 98 season they averaged 6k at home at the SFS and didn't crack the 10k all season.
  • Never seen that shrine before, love it, Thanks for posting it.

  • South's fans are the biggest bunch of bandwagoners.

Lets see if they are still as passionate once their team runs bottom four 4 years running.

I`m telling you I haven't seen this many South's supporters ever. They are everywhere.

  • the bunnies situation is far different to Parramatta.

    1. they are a foundation club

    2. they have one more premierships than any other club in the history of the game

    3. they were booted out of the competition and then re-instated

    4. when re-instated they were cellar dwellers for a long period of time

    5. new owners pumped an unbelievable amount of money and professionalism into the club and it became the club everybody wanted to play for

    6. The front office is solid and there are not factions with different agendas - when you have your front office in shape it usually reflects on the field.

I have no doubt us eels fans can match the passion but the road to the premiership was a little different for them. Getting booted out of the comp and then being re-instated is a massive achievement on its own.

from where they came from to where they are right now is huge.

This is the way of the future, smart wealthy businessman or in souths case Hollywood actors to take ownership of the clubs. I think if Parra can adopt this structure we will be the biggest and most successful sporting club in the nation.
