Parra's defence up the middle

I don't want to be negative about a very good win, but Ennis was cutting Parra to shreds up the middle. The Eels still need improvement, although if they continue to win games by scoring 30 or 40 points it won't be a major concern after the 80 minutes of footy.

    Parra's defence behind the ruck was the problem mainly because 2 of our better more mobile defenders in Hindy and MK were at marker a lot of the time exposing our front rowers behind the ruck.

      weve had trouble there all season but last night ennis carved up. i heard on the radio leaving the game that wile we concede alot of linebreaks we have the best cover defence in the league about not conceding tries after a linebreak has happnd we cut them down

    Expect a lot of dummy half runs from a brian smith coached side targeting our weakness behind the ruck and than hitting Carney and Pearce on the fringes.

      I would currently rate the Roosters a bigger threat in the finals than the Dragons, Panthers, Broncos or any other team in the top 8.

      Roosters will be tougher opponents than the Dogs next week. That will be an interesting clash, cause the Roosters are growing in confidence.
