Parramatta's Open Training Session

I just wanted to say thank you to the Club for another chance to say hello to the players.

I feel this is something we have picked up our game on this year, with the opportunity to meet our boys and watch them train at least 3 times this season.

In the past there have been complaints about the lack of attention given to fans, so tonight was another step in the right direction for the Club. :-)

On the training front, Benny was back in there which was great to see. No sign of Eric or Timana. The boys looked positive and some good play was happening, despite the very soggy conditions.

All the boys were polite and happy to sign autographs and were really appreciative of all those who came down. :-)

P.S. I did see a gentleman weating a 1EyedEel shirt - but was too shy to go and say hello! :-)

  • Was there many people Tinks?
  • we usually play good after fans day. I was at the last one, and we went on a 4 game winning streak. Here's hoping
  • It was quite a good turn out Parraeels12, considering that it was 4.30 on a weekday and very wet.

I think the boys were very encouraged by how many were there and how excited some were to see them! ;-)
  • Actually Sinbad - next time I see the players I will do my usual routine.

I will tell them that they are wonderful. That they need to keep at it, remain confident and that they have the support of their fans.

I am not a coach - I will leave that to the mastermind that is DA. My job is to let them know that the fans are behind them. Which I did tonight.

Next time you see them, you can pass on your own message.
  • Good point Sinbad and one I can agree with.

No single player is to blame for a loss because we win and lose as a team. :-)

We have shown how fantastic our teamwork is - look at the Storm and Dogs games. We can do this and I still have every confidence that the boys will.
  • I really want to go to one before the year is out. Just 4.30 on a weekday doesn't do any favours. Are they worth it?

"First game against them the wingers both made poor defensive issues to let in tries. Plus Samrani got burnt by McLean, hope thats been addressed. we were in that game till late, gave away dumb penalties.
