Parramatta Training -16th April - Closed Session

Very warm conditions today. Unfortunately I arrived to a locked gate and a sign advising that entry was restricted to football staff. Having taken up a vantage point outside the ground, I found myself a little restricted in what I could report. Here's what I can provide as feedback:* Semi is looking very good. No chance of playing this week but I watched him hit top pace in his rehab work today.* the Wenty boys looked very sharp. Pauli was working on taking control of plays involving him* our backline speed looks much better* attacking shape was as an important focus of the day.* lots of on line defence was rehearsed.Overall the energy was high despite the conditions. There was lots of talk, with coaching staff and players reminding each other to keep their energy levels up.I'm confident that the intensity will be much better this week.

  • Sixties -

    Robo a fullback certainty
    Hop centres with Tak

    Fa'aoso on the beach

    DeGois and Terepo Wenty

    Sound right?
    • Some. I cant say too much for obvious reasons. It was closed for a reason. I think people will like our backline.. There won't be as many changes as you just said.
  • Hi 60s, where were u located? I was down in the area adjacent to the car park & behind the goal posts where they have just top dressed then spent some time on the Gladstone street side watching Sandow with his goal kicking.

    • I was on the northern side of the field. I think it's north! There were a few people there near me, including Al from here. Had a bit of a chat with Al after training.
  • LOL - you been BUSTED 60s.

Told ya Brad sneaks onto 1EE.

    • Very true Mick but I still think that BA can get the boys to step up to the mark.

  • Strangely, I liked it too. Although I'll admit to being a bit frustrated at having to watch from the other side of a fence whilst getting sunburnt,
  • Nice to have met you Sixties.  Really appreciate your blogs.
