Parramatta Supporters have had enough

Hi All,

For years we have been putting up with this rubbish, In - house fighting at board level, 6 coaches in 10 years and now looks like 7, poor performances on the field and in the front office. As supporters it's time we told the club we "have had enough".

We want our voice to be heard please go to the address below and let's try to make a difference I will look to present this to the club once we have enough signatures.

  • Hi Miatch,

The purpose behind the petition is to show the fans have had enough, I have only just started this and I'm happy to add what ever people think we should, If we want change we have to speak up.

    • I like the passion and the initiative Brett, but we need to articulate what change we want. For too long we've grandstanded as fans and said "we want CHANGE! The way it is sucks!" so we get some change and then we start it all again "we want CHANGE!".

We need to start articulating exactly what we want to see happen and why. Change for changes sake rarely works. We should've learned that by now.
  • I have added slightly more but I will make no more changes, I do have a contact with someone within the club who is also very pissed off I have spoken to them about this and he will help me to get this to the right people, He has asked me not to mention his name as he wants no involvement but will point me to the right person.

  • There needs to be a vote of no confidence, 100 members signatures are needed for that I think
    • What's that achieve? Ultimately? A vote of no confidence is useful to use as a threat to initiate change, but carrying it out as a kneejerk reaction does little unless there's a quality alternative in the wings.
  • Why can't you change it Miatch? At Parra you can do whatever you feckin want.

  • I was going to do a blog similar to this, but I may as well just exploit my feelings on this one.

CALLING ALL PARRA FANS TO BOYCOTT THIS WEEKENDS GAME AGAINST ST GEORGE!

Some may laugh, call me a fool etc, but whatever. And the chances of getting people to boycott the game are slim to none. But I'm gonna ask anyway!
Over the past 72 hours most people on here have voiced their anger and opinions.
As fans, we have supported this ONCE great club for our entire lives.
We have put up with so much drama over the years. But for me, and I think I speak on behalf of a lot of people on here, this latest saga has just about done it for me.
As I said in a previous blog, I will always support the Parramatta Eels emblem. However I will refuse to support this club until things get done to turn it around.
It's not jumping on and off the bandwagon. Whilst losing can be painful, it's something I've become accustomed to over the years and regardless of results, my heart will ALWAYS lie with parra. BUT.. The fact that the club is run like a circus, they treat the fans like shit, treat us as if our dollar is worthless, it's about time, we as fans, stand up and voice our anger publicly.
I have already stated that I WILL NOT be renewing my membership from here on in (until the club is functional again,) nor will I be purchasing ANY single game tickets. I refuse to continue throwing money at the club, because at the end of the day, the club treats us like a bit of dirt and we get absolutely nothing for the money we pay.
Just because I refuse to give a single cent to the club, does not, by any means, mean I will not continue to support the boys. I'm parra through and through, and regardless of the ON FIELD results, that will never change. As for the club it self however, the can go and get F**K*D. Yep, I've said it. I'm done with this shit.
Say what you wish about this statement, everyone has their own opinion, but this is my thoughts, and I'm sure some will feel the same.

Anyway, let's hope for a big win on Saturday. Let's just hope that win will be in front of an empty stadium.
    • So don't show up and support the team because a bunch of d****heads higher than them are ruining the club?

How do you think the players are feeling? If anything we should get out there in numbers to show them we still support them as a TEAM.

    • You're a fool. You're punishing the players for something completely out of their control. Shame.
