PARRAMATTA STADIUM TIME TO UPDATE

I think its past time that the stadium needs an update or modernising. i have listed some ideas however i would contact the stadium trust but if they arent gonna build a new grandstand they wont listen to my ideas,

replace all the seating with blue and gold seating.
build two grandstands joining the original two.
increase capacity to 45 - 50 thousand.
get rid of the food shops and replace them with outlets like a food court . KFC,McDonalds, Subway, Oporto,
build a walk of fame around the exterior of the stadium with statues and photos etc.
bigger screens at each end of the ground
have decent entertainment during half time breaks
each week introduce a team of the past to the crowd and have them do a lap of honour.

agree with all of those points except that we need a capacity of about 30000 tops

Some ideas would work FG, and others wouldn't.

The reality of the situation is that the club just doesn't have the money to fund all of the ideas that have been raised.

mate, all good ideas but we cant even sell out our homes games with a 20,000 capacity, how are we going to sell out 45-50,000? the atmosphere will be like ANZ stadium.

See my blog about this topic. the stadium Trust control the ground. The Eels can only control match day events not the ground structure.
There will be no ground improvements.
We need to partition the stadium trust for these things.
we now have a rapidly outdated stadium.
Look at the funding St george are getting for TWO STADIUMS.
THIS IS A POLITICAL ISSUE

I'd be happy if we could increase the capacity to around 25,000-30,000. That i feel would be ideal.

Its a shame that parra stadium was not part of the 2022 world cup bid. We would have been asurred of a somewhat substantial upgrade :(
